Advanced Semiconductor Technology (AST), a privately held Israeli Corporation with affiliates in San Diego, California and in Le Vaud, Switzerland, was established in 1986 as the first independent Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) Design Center in Israel.

AST operates as a fabless semiconductor company and provides ASIC design and production services. Additionally AST distributes Application Specific Standard Products (ASSP), Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools and core IP’s to the Israeli Hi-Tech industry. AST is the exclusive representative and distributor for some of the world’s leading manufacturers of ASIC, ASSP, EDA software and IP.
In addition, AST is an industry leader in DO178 and DO254 consulting and certification support for the Aerospace industry.

AST’s ASIC Department serves as a focal point in the Israeli market for ASIC and COT design services as well as turn-key solutions for advanced technologies (40nm) and mixed signal applications.

AST’s EDA Department provides solutions in design optimization and verification, computing resources and data management, Design for Test (DFT), IT/CAD infrastructure services and Avionics certification (DO178 and DO254).

AST’s IP Department provides solutions which include a wide range of digital and analog IP, data security IP, verification IP and IP management tools.
AST’s ASSP Department specializes in Networking, PCIe (PCI Express) interconnect, Image Processing, DSP subsystems and high performance memory and optoelectronic devices.
